How do I care for my Outland Living Fire Table?

To ensure the longevity of your Outland Fire Table, it's important to take regular care of your unit. Below are some tips on how to maintain your fire table to ensure you are getting the most out of your product:

1. When possible, keep your fire table out of the harsher elements such as rain or snow and store it in a dry place. We recommend using our durable soft cover when your table is not in use.

2. Ensure that you clean the top of your Outland Fire Table after each use to keep it looking like new! We recommend using warm soapy water to wipe down your unit. To protect the wicker, do not use abrasive cleaners. Especially, DO NOT USE PETROLEUM BASED SOLVENTS TO CLEAN YOUR FIRE TABLE.

3. If your fire table has been in the rain, we recommend wiping the glass dry with a cloth to ensure hard-to-remove water stains do not form, especially if the table is left to dry in the sun.

4. If your fire table has not been used regularly or has been in use for over a year, we recommend removing the glass rocks from the burner tray and cleaning the burner tube. Cleaning your burner tube of dirt, debris, and even bugs will keep it from clogging and will keep your fire table in good working order! For a guide on how to remove your burner tube for cleaning, and how to clear potential obstructions, please contact our support team at 1-888-514-1663 or email us at info@outlandliving.com.

5. If you notice your glass rocks are turning black, don't worry! The black forming on your rocks is known as soot, which is a natural by-product of the rich air/fuel mixture required to create Outland Living's signature decorative orange-yellow flame. It is normal to see a little soot forming on the glass rocks or burner tray after the table has been in operation. Simply wipe the affected rocks and burner tray with a dry cloth once the table has cooled, after approximately 30 minutes, to clean the soot.

6. Remove any debris and leaves which may have accumulated in your Fire Table burner tray before igniting.

7. Surface tarnish on your burner tray caused by the heat of the flame can be removed by using standard stainless-steel cleaning products (we recommend a product called “Barkeeper’s Friend”). Use a non-abrasive pad to wipe in the direction of the stainless steel grain (do not wipe in a circular motion, or against the grain, or scratches may appear).
